How to place a "Flight Advisory" shortcut on your desktop

Please follow these instructions in sequence

1. Use your browser's print function to print out these instructions for reference.

2. Create an empty receiving folder.

3. Download "SHORTCUT.ZIP" from www.av8software.com/prog/shortcut.zip into the               new folder and unzip.

4. Open that folder from Windows Explorer, right click over the  "Flight Advisory" icon and select "Copy".

5. Clear the screen, right click the mouse over the desktop and select "Paste". If the icon                portrays a small airplane against a blue background, you are done and it should work.                    Actually, if it is a windows default icon it will still work, but to get the real icon, please                       carry on.

6. Right click on the default icon and select "Properties", then click on the "Change Icon"                button.

7. Use the "Browse" function to find your new download folder.

8. Select the "AV8" icon and click "OK".

9. Now the correct icon should be in place.

This is an example of the icon
